Cinnamon Streusel Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

These cinnamon streusel chocolate chip banana muffins are so decadent and delicious, you won't be able to have just one!

Ingredients
  

Cinnamon Streusel Topping

  • ¼ Cup Butter melted
  • Cup Flour all purpose
  • ½ Cup Light or Dark Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

  • 1 ¾ Cups Flour all purpose
  • 1 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 3-4 Ripe Bananas
  • ½ Cup Butter melted
  • ½ Cup Light or Dark Brown Sugar packed
  • ¼ Cup White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Tsp Vanilla
  • 2 Cups Chocolate Chips Milk chocolate or semi-sweet

Instructions
 

Cinnamon Streusel Topping

  • Melt butter in a medium bowl.
  • Add brown sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  • Mix well until combined.
  • If too dry, add more butter. If too wet, add more flour to reach the desired consistency.

Muffins

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mash ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  • Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl (flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt) and mix. Set aside.
  • Combine wet ingredients in a large mixing bowl (melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla, eggs) and mix.
  • Add mashed bananas to wet ingredient mixing bowl.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet ingredient mixing bowl.
  • Mix to incorporate, but be careful to not overmix.
  • Add chocolate chips and mix until just combined.
  • Add batter to muffin tins and top with cinnamon streusel topping.
  • Bake at 375 for 17-20 minutes (watch to make sure the streusel topping doesn't burn).
  • Serve & Enjoy!
