One Pot Creamy Bacon & Pea Alfredo

- 4 slices thick-cut bacon, coarsely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces dried pasta of your choice About half a box
- 1¾ cup chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup frozen peas
- ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
In a deep skillet pan cook the chopped bacon until crispy.
Remove the bacon and set aside in a bowl, do not drain any of the bacon grease.
In the warm pan add garlic, cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
Add in pasta, chicken broth, water, salt, and pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 13 to 15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Only stir once.
Add heavy whipping cream, peas, and parmesan cheese and stir.
Cook and stir an additional 2 minutes until cheese is melted and fully incorporated and peas are heated through.
Add bacon and stir. Enjoy!
