One Pot Creamy Bacon & Pea Alfredo

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces dried pasta of your choice About half a box
  • cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • ¼ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a deep skillet pan cook the chopped bacon until crispy.
  • Remove the bacon and set aside in a bowl, do not drain any of the bacon grease.
  • In the warm pan add garlic, cook for 30 seconds or until fragrant.
  • Add in pasta, chicken broth, water, salt, and pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce heat and simmer covered for 13 to 15 minutes or until pasta is tender. Only stir once.
  • Add heavy whipping cream, peas, and parmesan cheese and stir.
  • Cook and stir an additional 2 minutes until cheese is melted and fully incorporated and peas are heated through.
  • Add bacon and stir. Enjoy!
